Couples & family therapy · Beirut & online

Two people.
One shared space.

A calm room, in person or online, where couples and families can slow down, hear each other again and work out what comes next. In English and Arabic.

Hello,

I’m Zeina.

I work with couples and families when the closeness that used to come easily has started to feel like distance. By the time people reach me, every conversation often seems to end in the same argument.

My job is not to decide who is right. It is to help you see the pattern you are caught in together, and to find a way out of it that fits your family, your culture and your life here.

[Training, accreditation and years in practice, to be supplied by Zeina]

Who I work with

Most of my work is with more than one person in the room, because most of what hurts happens between people.

.01

Couples

Newly together, many years in, or deciding whether to stay. Sessions give each of you room to be heard.

.02

Families

Parents and children, siblings, several generations under one roof. We look at how the family works as a whole, not at who is to blame.

.03

Individuals

Sometimes one person comes alone. We can still work on the relationships that matter most to you.

What brings people here

Areas of focus

Communication & conflict
The same argument, again and again.
Trust & repair
After an affair, a secret or a broken promise.
Preparing for marriage
Talking through the big questions early.
Parenting together
When you love your children but disagree on how to raise them.
Separation & co-parenting
Ending a relationship with as little harm as possible.
Families across borders
Migration, distance, return, and the strain they bring.
Generations & expectations
Between what your family hopes for and what you want.
Grief & life changes
Loss, illness, a new baby, an empty house.

How I work

Three things you can count on in the room.

“The relationship is the client.”

Systemic. I look at the patterns between people, not only at each person on their own.

“Your context belongs here.”

Culturally attuned. Family, faith, displacement and community shape how we love. They are part of the work, not outside it.

“No one is put on trial.”

Even-handed. Everyone gets heard. Nobody is made into the problem.

A gentle reminder

You don’t need the right words before you arrive. Finding them together is part of the work.

[Zeina’s answer]

Can we meet online?

[Zeina’s answer: platform, time zones, couples joining from two places]

Can sessions be in Arabic?

[Zeina’s answer]

Is what we say confidential?

[Confidentiality and its limits, in Zeina’s wording]
